Jon Stewart's last show was lame and boring

I also thought his short bit with Wyatt Cenac was funny in an awkward way.

Wasn't really meant to be funny at all.

It was their public way of saying everything between them is water under the bridge and they are cool with each other after their recent spat.

The finale should have been the penultimate episode instead. For the last show, Stewart should have gone for a big interview, like Vladmir Putin or Assad.

Like when Obama pretended to be Colbert? Got that one saved, some of the best TV i have seen in a while.

re: Jon Stewart saying goodbye to his collaborators, it's not like i don't want him to, but it's not particularly entertaining. Or even emotionally charged - it's something that's important for them, but for the public?

Yes he should have had that before the last show, and then have a massive interview with someone huge .. like Donald Trump. Or Bernie Sanders. Or Hilary Clinton.

I thought his show turned boring a while ago. Seemed to me it changed significantly when he announced his 'retirement'. After a few episodes I stopped watching it.

Fern

Some truth to that but once in awhile he would come out with a kick-ass deal, Tom Brady provided him with an opportunity to excel and he didn't miss with "The fresh prince of ball-air", link.

i never liked that show

Don't feel bad, most twerps don't. 😎

Who's John Stewart?

Who cares? This is about Jon Stewart of The Daily Show. :colbert:

I stopped watching it at least 10 years ago.

Well, we all hope you find the remote sometime during this decade.

But yeah, OP, I understand that this show wasn't for you. I have a female friend who probably has never watched a single episode who wanted to know how she could find it. I'm going to tell her not to bother.
