Funny how he is far less combatitive on the liberal CBS which also owns CC than he was on CNN....

Still came off as a pompous ass though.

Dude, chill out. This was an interview, Crossfire is a debate show. Of course he's going to be less combative. Besides, he rips on CBS, too, so cram the left wing conspiracy crap. And how can you call him pompus? He's one of the most self-depricating journalists/celebrities/people out there.

Bah, whatever.

He's mildly funny but he did act like a self important a**. "Crossfire" hints that the show is going to be a heated show and that people will come on and express their version of the truth.

Let's all apologies to Jon Stewart that the media isn't completely unbias and fair.

PS: Watch PBS newshour every night and you will see plain old news without bias.

It's been my observation the more to the right you are, the more you see everything as "liberal".

Not sure if you're suggesting I'm to the right, but I'm not. I'd like to think of myself as being in the center, but I'm to the left a bit. Somewhere between democrat and libertarian.

Nope, I wasn't. I was just pointing out an observation. I think most of the mainstream cable news stations are crap anyhow, but it can be argued, IMO, that CNN is left leaning on some things, and right leaning on others. You can find bias in everything if you look hard enough. I think they actually try to cater to the mainstream as a rule since that is where most of their viewers are.

:)

Personally, I think people put too much stock in labels. I lean one way on some issues, and another on other ones. I like to take each issue and make my own judgement on it. I think people like to use labels because it's easier for them to put someone is this group over there, so they can write them off as one of them who don't warrant listening to.

Just my take...

Labels are a good thing; they serve a purpose. I don't want to sit around babbling about the intricacies of my political views to every person, so it's easy to just say "a little to the left, between democrat and libertarian," and people get a decent idea of how I see things. Sure, labels can be abused, but what can't?

And I think CNN is somewhat to the left, but not ragingly liberal. Just little hints of liberal-ness here and there that I notice. I don't notice the same kinds of hints of conservatism; it always seems like they're "acting" conservative as to remain "unbiased."

It's been my observation the more to the right you are, the more you see everything as "liberal".

And the more to the left you are, the more you see everything as "conservative" and when you see liberal you see "center"/unbiased. Whats your point? Your obsevation works both ways and proves nothing.
