I was off on a different intellectual tangent than that, but that's very Budhist of you.

My meaning is, if religious beliefs are untrue but they make people feel better, should people point that out? Is truth its own end?

Hehe, point what out, that religious beliefs are untrue or that they make folk feel better, or both and I still don't see what here makes truth it's own end. Maybe you could just say what you believe. Really sorry. I think religious beliefs are true but not how the religious think. I think they know there is a God because they were born in unity and only became divided against themselves as they learned to think and believe. I think religious people are subjectively happier than non religious people are. I don't know if that means truth is its own end because I don't know what that means.

Shet... The only time Huntsman stands up is when someone yells "the press is here".
