However, beating women is an ongoing problem in the western society and it calls for abuse by an external part.

It is like me being a Jew making a joke like:

How do you fit 132 jews in a volkswagon?

Two in the back two in the front and the rest in the ashtray.

Is that a good joke, yup, is it bad taste, no, why not? because it is not happening every hour of every day.

Women are being killed by their fathers/husbands/brothers so often that it is not newsworhty anymore.

I was taught to respect women, perhaps this is a Jewish thing and all others are not taught that though, it sure seems like it.

There is no excuse to ever raise your hand to a woman unless you fear for your life.

99% of the males here will happily call a soman a whore, just know, if i hear it, you WILL be going home without a face.
 
I bet this thread makes me sexist, just like this thread makes my view rubbed the wrong way by racism?

Someone who I had lots of respect for said this to me: long thread and probably lots of stereotypes and racism which has rubbed you the wrong way, right? (he was referring to the thread I linked to above)

Either I'm missing something or a lot has been assumed here. Since I didn't post the name of the person, I'd appreciate if you guys gave me your opinion on what that person said.

Respecting women? A Jewish thing? Let me pause while I build up the strength necessary to laugh in a manner appropriate to display the degree of hilarity I have, in effect, felt wash over my divine self. Seriously, none of the major religions have anything resembling respect towards women. Christianity, Judaism, Islam... hell even that damn Jamaican religion that seems all "peace and love". They are all of them completely prejudiced towards women. Heh, I don't know what I was thinking with that third sentence. I thought it would be a funny "pissed off geek" thing to say. It's great to be me.

Oh, you already answered that question for me. So you have a problem with violence against women, as I am sure we all do, but you have no problem attacking a man if he calls someone a name. You are truly a man of peace.
