The Pope flies in NYC to give a speech at the UN, and he flags down a cab.

Pope "Drive me to the UN as fast as you can, I'll pay for any tickets you get."

Cabbie "No way, I herd last time you did that, you stiffed the cabbie for the bill and his insurance went up."

Pope ?Well then, you get in the back and I'll drive."

The Pope is hauling tail in the cab, and gets pulled over for speeding.

The cop walks up to the cab and looks at the Pope driving, then he looks into the back and sees the cabbie sitting in the back, he scratches his head and walks back to the cop car.

Cop on the radio "Hey Sarge, you know how you said to call you if I pull over anyone important"

Sarge "You didn't pull over a city councilman did you?"

Cop "No more important then that"

Sarge "You didn't pull over a US Senator did you?"

Cop "No more important then that"

Sarge "You idiot, you didn't pull over the President did you?"

Cop "No more important then that"

Sarge "More important than the President! Who did you pull over?"

Cop "I don't know. But the Pope is driving him around!"
