I've posted the exact same thread a while ago. Anyone still playing?

Since its summer I'm glad to see the servers have filled up more. However BF2 is coming out real soon, and people chat about it in JO a lot, so that might not be good for it...

But I'm really pissed they STILL have not brought a damn patch out. All it is is delays and excuses. They said so many times stuff like just a few more weeks, even gave out dates but then stayed quiet when it was supposed to be released. And now for a week I haven't been able to really access Novaworld Forums. Not sure if my account is messed up, or if everyone's is hosed? Yet of course go to the main page and not an update for over a month.

But anyway this isn't a rant thread cause I'm wondering if theres any ATers to play with! I really like the game but the company sucks. I feel with BF2 release its on the verge of being cut off unless they get a damn good patch out before BF2. I suppose they could be waiting to do that. In fact all I really care about from them is just one patch that might actually FIX things and not make break them. The bugs don't affect or bother me much like some people say, just a slightly more polished game before Novalogic says "fvck it" would be nice.

Anyway, off to play. MUST play Kutu Arms Market server is on it!

Yup still playing most nights although I think that is about to end with BF2 coming so sooooooooooooooon

I hear what you are saying - the game in the most part is absolutely outstanding and makes BF1942/Vietnam look like a cartoon. The standard of player is generally much more mature and team orientated too.

However in the last few days I have had some Novalogic grief too, 1st of all I have to say the game has been running totally rock solid (i.e. not one crash or disconnect) for about 8 months for me. However I upgraded to to the 5.5 cats a couple of days ago and now I get a hard lock whenever I open the map.

3 days after posting for help in the tech forum and I have 0 replies.

Also the constant lying about the stats for over 12 months now has angered me also.

So it will probably be the end of an era very soon, but one I have thouroughly enjoyed, and in BF2 doesnt live up to expectations then I will be headed back there pronto
