Btw P4 5+GHz!? ,err I assume he's using sub zero cooling? ,others it's BS!😛
If it is for real, WUs times would be nuts! ,imagine how many WUs/day he'd be able to do with that!?:Q:Q ,(assuming it has HT)

It's for real!!! The 5.3 GHZ P4 (it is a 3.2 Default) has been verified..only one to have hit 5+ GHZ (funny how all the top 10 are from japan..amybe they o/c better there 😉

And yes it's using LN2 cooling to -125C :Q :Q :Q

The system is only stable for 45 minutes or so...but they are working on it 😀

I'm getting some good answers in my o/c thread down in the overclocking forums so i might just yet get more out of this chip. i really think the ram is at fault 🙁
 
Oh, i should probably tell you, i get about 20wu/day with all the rigs crunching for me, but 1 can only switch about 12wu of those when we boost someone else

Just a little FYI, my output is very up and down at the moment...

I'm setting up a Linux server hence I'm constantly having to take my machine offline to use the keyboard, mouse and monitor. I'll get hold of another keyboard soon and once the machine is configured and up and running I'll be able to stash it in the wardrobe so I wont need a monitor.

Inccidently Tetsuo said that if we had time he'd like a boost to 10k (that'll take 5k!:Q) ,I said we'll add him to the list but he's at least 3rd on the list (unless there's a change in tact) & there's not much time left.

I'm switching both my home machines over to TaBoo. Combined they should be good for 7.46 results a day judging by my 7-day average from Shux' queue. I sadly cannot keep my machines on 24/7 but when they are on, they'll be crunching for Coolkid.

 
I am working on trying to get an old 1GHz machine running, it will run for Taboo. I have to get together with BofBnT and pick up a case, then try to find time to put it all together. After I have it up I will probably PM one of you OC specialists and try to get a little help with an OC for it. Probably not much, running old PC133 ram.

Unless its generic RAM it might be the cpu that's the o/cing limit ,at 1GHz the coppermine PIII's were very near there limit.If your lucky you might hit 1.1GHz.I had a PIII 933 that hit 1.05GHz ,RAM was the limit there (150MHz FSB).On a VIA chipset that did WUs in a shade over 6hrs (would be less for a BX or 815 mbrd).Make sure you fit a reasonabley big HSF
 
Hey guys, glad to see Coolkid doing so well with ur help!!!, but I can't help to be a little bit jealous, cause he recently passed me, or I was going to pass him, can't remember......I'm on 3362 wu, doing 75-80 on my own. I used to do about 15-20 a day, but moved it up a bit when I heard about SETI1 ending sometime soon...Don't know if I'll catch him anytime soon or at all, but I'll keep on crunching those wu till the end!!! Maybe I've still got some crunching power up my sleeve...
 
That is quite some impressive Self-output AMDxBORG...don't worry all is well and fun in the end as we are all a part of the same team 😀
 
update:

Working on 2500+ and 1.2 athy right now.

I am actually thinking of putting the athlon on Climate Prediction as it cant do Wu's (4.5/day) that well anyways. The barton i should have for a week.
