If that user is in your queue already, you should just need to point the new client at it...
If it isn't, maybe try pointing your queue to my queue first and pull down a couple of WU to get the user in the system 🙂

How do you stop SETIDriver grinding to a halt?

I've found that it'll send off results but can't grab new WUs.
My main rig ran out last night whilst my 2nd rig ran out just 3hrs ago.

Btw I've found I can still get new WUs from Berkley! ,lol 😉
Currently got 54 in Q but can't access them.

Actual output since last stats - 113 😉 (19hr period,143/day)
ETF - xx days (using expected output)
ETF - 11.4 days (using actual output)

Target - 10k

SETI classic end date - December 15th 05 though results are still going through atm!

Though I doubt very much that we'll have 11 days left to finish it ,even assuming we can keep that up.
Btw I'll switch my rigs back to BRS if I can get them crunching again.

Assimilator1, i could email you a copy of BRS 'user_info.sah' file. That works with some add-ons... not sure if SETI Driver is one of them. PM me you email.

My SETI Driver is quite stuck at the moment 🙁

Anyone using it still able to get it uploading? I've played around with SETI Queue lately but couldn't figure it out.
 
It's a problem with SETIDriver rather than SETIQ ,though SETIQ is passing the message along.

I still have BRSs user_info.sah ,I've even tried copying it into the other SDriver dirs but it doesn't work.
I did get just the plain client to work with a single WU it has left but I don't know if it'll be able to grab a WU afterwards.
Anyway atm I'm running Prime95 on my 2nd rig as I've been having stabilty problems ,it definitley doesn't like 200MHz FSB ,though that could be PSU related.
I can try it on my main rig I guess ,will have to shut off DPAD which I'd only just started running again😛......yea I'll switch now.

Btw what addon are you using?
 
I'm just using the SETI Driver/Spy combo.
It sounds as though they've disabled downloading of new WUs but i'm not positive as i haven't tried it lately. I just downloaded WUs from Coolkid's Q though(for BRS's account). He said it OK to do if needed in the "it ain't dead yet" thread.
 
I have several of them and it is working for me to search for the directories that hold the file: SetiDriverTransmitLoopDetector.txt then delete all files in that directory and then hit transmit on seti driver - it then gets a new WU from my Q.
 
I have about 20 units sending in right now. Removed the "obselete version" from the
version.sah file and things are good.

just put my two HT machines on his account - I thought I had before, but forgot to change the link in the startup folder 😱

So there's an additional 45 - 50 / day coming.

Btw I'm going to switch Qs Wiz to CKs,makes it hard to track when I don't exist 😉

Interesting ,CKs Q sees my IP add correctly ,86. etc.......
 
I had a problem getting WU's and thought you might have switched off your Q. Was
getting them from CK, but dual proc Linux is pointed back at you.
