Johnnie Walker Blue Label whisky lovers

I am getting ready to travel overseas and want to buy some Johnnie walker blue label whisky.....duty free shops at the airport...whould I buy from there or from another store.

Any ideas how much is at the duty free shop in LA? 750ml or 1L

Lowest price I remember seeing on the blue is $129.00. They actually had it at the Ralphs Market, Bundy & Wilshire in LA.

I love the taste and want to share this with my father and brother overseas........I will try the duty free at the airport.....hopefully they will let me carry it on the plane

Best of luck in finding it for cheap then. I'd also suggest you possibly pick up some of the better single malt scotches since you can get them cheap and I'm sure you'd enjoy them.

I like blended....but I will also try single malt sometimes. Thanks for the tip

I am getting a gift pack for $119 which has 200 ml of Blue,Green,Black,Red or $199 for 750 ml of Blue label.........is this good...or the duty free can do better

You can definitely get a better deal on the Blue Label. Possibly even locally. I know a shop around here sells it for $170.
