John Roberts To Be Supreme Court Chief Justice

In an odd, but predicatable fashion, Bush has nominated a man that has ZERO qualifications to lead the highest court in this country. But that won't make a difference to the rubber-stamp lapdog, gutless weasel Senate.

You think everyone would say "Whoa, Georgie-boy. We've seen what unqualified people in top positions can do and the damage and death it creates. Come up with someone else."

O'Connor, I've heard will serve until they find a replacement for HER. I think Bush wants the biggest possible Supreme Court fight he can get to deflect from his dereliction of duty in the Gulf. But we'll see how this plays out...

It's going to be an attention diverter, that's for sure. You can't blame him for taking advantage of the timing though. If he wants roberts as Cheif, then he needs to pick a second nomination for the other vacancy so we know what's on the table.
