lmao! That's the most awesome trailer I've ever seen. So bloody. Too bad they can't show that on TV here.

I hope they don't have a cheesy ending where he sacrifices himself to save other people.

this is a rough-cut trailer they took to Cannes. It will not be the official trailer.

that's like, submitting Guinness to a Bordeaux competition.

Actually, it's more like walking into a fine art museum with the corpse of Picasso on your back, throwing it down on the floor, and skull-raping it while singing the national anthem and chugging a 40oz.

Fscking-A!

lmfao!

Trailer looks awesome.. However, I hope the following isn't true.. But if it is true, I'm not going to see it :-(

Recent controversy

Firearms rights advocates, who have been a large portion of Sylvester Stallone's fan base, are planning on boycotting Rambo IV[citation needed] due to the actor's affiliation with the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, which advocates sensible gun control. [3]

When I looked at it the other day, there was another paragraph that said he was recently granted a CCW permit by the LA County Sheriff. I'm guessing he is not anti-gun.

However, the Brady Center does have pictures of him at an event on their website:

Hahnchen has (appropriately) edited out the section you quoted. I was going to do the same when I saw it. It looks like whoever is boycotting the film was trying to use Wikipedia to advertise their boycott.

Personally, I think it's stupid to not see a movie because of a person's political views.

Heh, it's kind of said that the best movies made now are sequels to old favorites, Indiana Jones 4, Die Hard 4, Transformers, now new Rambo movie...

That said the trailer looked awesome. Probably will just as cheesy as the first three, but it would be interesting to watch all the blood and gore, let's see
-guy getting his head cut off
-guy getting ripped to shreds with .50 close range
-guy getting his throat ripped out by bare hands (Hey Chuck, beat this!)

I miss old movies and still regularly rewatch Predator and Aliens.

Looked like he was using guns in a responsible manner to me..

Can Stalone's comback continue??? What comeback? The latest Rocky movie was one of the worst pieces of crap I've seen in a long time.

The over the top gore reminds me of the Grindhouse Machete trailer. They should make the real trailer the same.

This is the same douche fined here in Aus for possessing artificial human growth hormone? 😉

I think he also threw some testosterone he had with him out of a window when the police were outside? What a man! I'd follow him to the end of the world, i would!

Didn't he play a guy named John Spartan in a really awful movie once?

He must like the name.

Blashemy. Demolition Man was an excellent movie. And scarily getting more and more accurate as we are becoming more and more pussified.

Most people do not agree with you. It's the second highest rated Rocky movie on IMDB (7.6, a very respectable rating there), and it got a 76% at RT.

Was certainly a decent enough movie
Rocky I, II, III and IV all had some entertaining merits. V? No freaking way.
I'll defend IV based simply upon its period. This was in the middle of the cold war so the USA vs USSR was nothing out of the norm . In ITS TIME it was a good movie. Taken out of context... well. Beside Ivan Drago? Creed dying? Paulie??!!

Yeah, V was terrible. I always liked IV growing up because of the Cold War theme.

I was watching Rambo III (actually all 3) yesterday, and I had to laugh at the end when it said "Dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan." 😀 Oh how things can change.

Demolition man was one of the wittiest and goofiest action movies every made. The hidden humor and apparent humor in the movie was outstanding... And hell, it is even slightly (very slightly) based on a Brave New World. Can't get much better than that.
