In an incident that reportedly has the White House rattled, podcast host John Melendez prank called President Trump and was allowed to speak with president on Air Force One directly for several minutes, Axios reports. Melendez, also known for his sting on the Howard Stern Show, described on the June 28th episode of his "Stuttering John" podcast how easy it was to get through the White House's screening process and get on the phone with the president as he was flying back from a campaign rally.

Prank calling the feds probably isn't a good idea. I have to imagine he impersonated a fed in order to get through as well. Just guessing though.

He said he was Bob Menendez. I can’t see them prosecuting him here. The WH even checked with Menendez’s office and was told not to put the call through and they did it anyway. This all seems to rest on Kushner as the stupid fool here that let this all happen.

I mean it’s that fucking easy to get through to the POTUS with this admin. Call and claim to be anyone and you’ll get access even if they are warned not to.

You have to give your real name when you call a person in Gov?
Their numbers are publically available for calls (admittedly not Air Force One) but sounds like he called a business line and was patched to Trump.
