Senator John McCain’s son, Jack, marries black woman, Air Force reservist Renee Swift, in lavish ceremony

The off-springs of some Republicans are certainly changing the landscape of what a “family” should look like.

First, House Speaker John Boehner’s (R-Ohio) daughter married a black Rasta from Jamaica who enjoys a little weed and alcohol, now John McCain’s son, Navy Lieutenant Jack McCain, married himself a fine looking sista.
The junior McCain tied the knot with Air Force reservist Renee Swift at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco on Friday.

McCain’s wild child, Meghan, posted a few of the wedding pictures on line.

“Can’t believe my baby brother’s getting married tomorrow,” Megan tweeted on Thursday.” She later tweeted “My brother’s getting married! Gong to the chapel with my hot bitch date @Barret_Swateck! We clean up okay.”

Early Saturday morning she posted a picture of her 27-year-old brother and his 29-year-old wife with the caption: “My brother got married last night, I didn’t.”

After the wedding Senator McCain tweeted: “Wonderful day at my son Jack’s wedding!”

What’s next, one of Mitt Romney sons to come out as GAY?

I am sure many Tea-Party supporters are checking potential 2016 presidential candidates right now to see how many of their children are dating a black person.

Can we just go ahead and merge this with the other thread about what constitutes a "black woman"? I have no doubt this will end up in that gutter too.

My opinion? Good for him. She looks cute and has a great smile.

You know it occurs to me that people bring up stuff like this to make some kind of point. I can't really figure out what it is though. Something to do with John McCain being racist? Doesn't this kind of fly in the face of that? I don't get it...
 
Good for his son, she look pretty.

There's a forum for Politics and News, go make hay over there about an interracial marriage. OT is generally for major news events/larger audience.
 
i'm not racist... and this would never have occured to me as a potential topic for discussion. also not homophobic... and it never would have occurred to me to merge this topic with someone's son being potentially "GAY"

of course i am sure that there must be explanations other than racism and homophobia that would trigger such thoughts... but nothing that's anywhere near my radar
 
With all other posts and threads locked and people banned for racism for less, how is this thread still open?

There have been several people here on the forums recently who (to say it mildly) weren't too positive about mixed couples. This isn't about McCain, this is about the people who 'are not racists, but...'
