Yea, I've had mixed luck. Once it gets past the beta stage it seems like updates are as likely to break something as to fix it.

With the exception of the ever-crappy Facebook app, I can't think of many app updates that I've gotten that have truly been a step backwards. All have either fixed existing issues or added new features (or both).

I bought the original Angry Birds and Angry Birds seasons when they first came out years ago. I've gotten so many updates over the years adding functionality that has been absolutely free.
