Watched a Showtime documentary a couple years back about his years in Belize. If the people interviewed in that were telling the truth, he was guilty of at least one murder, and possibly others. He denied it, of course.

yeah, that's a good doc.

My favorite part is when multiple of his paid "lady servants" confess that MacAfee demanded that they lay under his hammock and suck the shit out of his asshole.

this guy should have been dead long ago, but I'd still rather have seen proper justice served to this fucking terrorist.

Perhaps it was really just an accident and he was trying to accomplish something and it snapped his neck or something?
never mind, didn't read quote. was thinking along the lines of David Carradine.

When was he ever a 'hero'? From what I've heard he was a crazy-person at best, and arguably a monster.

That was back in the late '80s and early '90s, young one... I'm old enough to remember the first computer viruses, as well as the first antivirus programs. Back then, both Norton and McAfee were white shining knights. And the number of computer viruses (virii?) in the wild was small enough that they were catalogued and published in books!

F-Prot was the bee's knees.

Edit: F-Prot is still around but will end support July 31, 2021.

Also got away with rape. Even by billionaire standards he was an exceptional piece of shit.
Seems to have been something of a psychopath. Drug fueled, I'm thinking. I'm not anti-drugs here, but drugs can be, shall we say, deleterious.

He was a great proponent of designer drugs. The bath salts in the video, bare that out. Nothing better than a stimulant that leads to madness.

<< Janice McAfee said she wanted a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the death of the 75-year-old, which happened in his prison cell on Wednesday in what the authorities said was an apparent suicide by hanging. Dressed in black and wearing dark sunglasses, she told reporters outside the Barcelona-area Brians 2 jail, where her husband had been held since October, that she had last spoken to him a few hours before he was found dead. “His last words to me were ‘I love you and I will call you in the evening’, those words are not words of someone who is suicidal,” she said, holding back tears. >>

The biggest surprise here is to see that 1) the guy was married and 2) his ex-wife (unlike his many ex-GFs) actually seems to care for him still...

Er, wasn't it the other way around? I seem to remember he was the one that wanted the shit.

Wasn't he the one who also was into blood injection from young people? Believed that blood transfusions from youngsters would give him almost immortality. Hmmmm.....maybe this is from where the adenochrome bullshit was born, given his Q obsession and all.

Unfortunately there may be something to the tale about young blood rejuvenating old tissue.
