Well he might as I don't think he'd be to comfortable going on the Lecture Circuit.
He's going to be on a double bill with Quayle.

Quayle is actually a pretty good speaker, IIRC.

Quayle once misspelled his own name :p
i haven't heard of that incident either. is there a link to the story, because you know that would be front page news. :p

He probably studied oratory when he learned Latin.

I like this part:

"Katrina is a symbol of all this administration does and doesn't do. Michael Brown -- or Brownie as the President so famously thanked him for doing a heck of a job - Brownie is to Katrina what Paul Bremer is to peace in Iraq; what George Tenet is to slam dunk intelligence; what Paul Wolfowitz is to parades paved with flowers in Baghdad; what Dick Cheney is to visionary energy policy; what Donald Rumsfeld is to basic war planning; what Tom Delay is to ethics; and what George Bush is to ?Mission Accomplished? and "Wanted Dead or Alive." The bottom line is simple: The "we'll do whatever it takes" administration doesn't have what it takes to get the job done."

I bet he had alot of fun saying that!

News Flash! You visiting a House in DC doesn't make you an expert or your opinion one of validity..

Then you crawl out of the cube and do a little research. If you won't listen, at least look!

"Rarely has there been a moment more urgent for Americans to step up and define ourselves again. On the line is a fundamental choice. A choice between a view that says ?you?re on your own,? ?go it alone,? or ?every man for himself.? Or a different view - a different philosophy - a different conviction of governance - a belief that says our great American challenge is one of shared endeavor and shared sacrifice.

...........

But for those who still believe in the great tradition of Americans doing great things together, it?s time we started acting like it. We can never compete with the go-it- alone crowd in appeals to selfishness. We can?t afford to be pale imitations of the other side in playing the ?what?s in it for me? game. Instead, it?s time we put our appeals where our hearts are - asking the American people to make our country as strong, prosperous, and big-hearted as we know we can be - every day. It?s time we framed every question - every issue -- not in terms of what?s in it for ?me,? but what?s in it for all of us?"

The hurricane tapped the pigs on the shoulder who looked up from their troughs and exclaimed, "Good Grief, look at all the pig sh!t. Where did that come from? Then an old failure told them and they went into a rage, pointing their snouts at his failure in their lust to disown.

Interesting that he should mention that as Americans are redefining themselves away from liberal democracy!

He just cries himself to sleep at night because he, given the opportunity and the resources, couldn't even plan an effective presidential campaign. More people voted against him than voted for his opponent.

I love how people insist Kerry stood no chance, when Dubya only won by around 100,000 votes. For those unaware, here in America, we go by the electoral college; so even though Dubya received a few million more, that part didn't matter. You can't win states several times over to give yourself more of a chance.

$200+ million and your beloved only wins by a small margin.

Actually, thats pretty common amoung many political figures to learn a couple keywords and some famous phrases in another language...

Kerry is more complex than Bush, he might be more smarter than Bush in some ways, he may ultimately be a better President than Bush and he is certainly liked way better around the world than Bush, but Bush will always be more likeable here in America. That is something Kerry tried to do so hard during this past election, he simply could not do it. The American people tried to understand Kerry a bit more, to see what he was really like, they couldn't do it.

There is a gap in personality between these two. Just like there was between Gore and Bush. I thought Gore was a better choice for President than Bush, and I still believe he won the election, but people simply like the personality of Bush more. He is very charming.

I wish the Democrats had another person like Bill Clinton so they could easily win the next election. I think the person closest to that is John Edwards, but he may or may not run. So the next best choice is Hillary Clinton. She is amazing.

The only thing amazing about Hillary is how she can lie. She is trying to show a more conservative side but the fact is that she is a radical liberal. If you want a president 'coming' when he should have been looking out for the nation, look for another like BILL. Hillary can only win the coasts, match her up with Barbara Boxer, can't wait to see them slaughtered.

I'm not aware that Bush and his wife have a place in France. A vacation spot, if you will.

Kerry does, hence the reference (not to mention his cozyness with those losers.)

Yep, once Hillary leaves the east coast (NY and NJ in particular) her level of support drops so low that Quayle probably has a better following :p

She isn't fooling anyone.

Jesus, I wasn't talking about Kerry but about, dear in the headlights, Quayle.
He gave a speech in Latin America in which he lamented the fact that he hadn't taken Latin so he could directly address the people.

Well I heard about it but I wonder really if it's real. Hard to imagine somebody saying that seriously.

Yeah, but he won! Shows how badly Kerry managed his campaign. If he had been just a little worth a chit, he could have easily beat Bush.

The only one who doesn't understand Kerry is you! As for Clinton: Clinton continues a fine lineage
