John Kerry has now delivered a speech (or will deliver it soon, all he said was "in a few hours,") and he sent the transcript of the speech to subscribers on his mailing list. I'm one of them because John Kerry has been very assertive and caring about the nation even after his defeat.. anyway, here is the transcript of the speech:

John Kerry's Speech

I thought this speech was pretty damn good :x

Edit: this will be or has been delivered at Brown University..

He brings up some pretty good points. You may not care but someone probably would like to have a read..

Nice to see the democrats attempting to get their message out...
Lets just hope he doesn't use these speeches as a stepping stone for the nomination again! :p

Bayh's turn to kick butt :)

Kerry is an ineffectual senator, who ran an ineffectual Presidential campaign, losing to an even more ineffectual candidate. Why is his opinion on the current state of affairs any more relevant than those of Mondale, Buchanan, or Dole?

One thing's for sure, however - after reading Kerry's speech, I certainly won't be voting for Bush in 2008.

I didn't think Kerry made it out of the war room with Ted Kennedy yet. Last I knew, both of them were still debating the ins and outs of a war some 35 years ago.

The Junior Senator from MA, fool. Take your senility medication lately?

Spam, stop getting offended by the bashing of your lover, John Kerry. Stop insulting all of those that make a joke. In fact, just stop posting.

Wow, a gay joke. Did you come up with that all by yourself or is it a GOP talking point?

GOP talking point? What are you talking about? Can only Republicans realize your utter pointlessness? Am I to automatically assume that you are a male, as I had not read your profile? I merely assumed that you were a woman beacuse of the need to defend him between every breath you take. I thought you liked him. Oh well.

He is giving a speech at a local college, what's the big deal? I swear some people get worked up just to get worked up.

(And yes, I said local even though it is in another state. But if you can't figure out how far Brown University is from MA, well, that's your fault.)

How's the man-date working out for Dubya...40% approval ratings, eh?

Hows Kerry working out as President? Oh yeah, he and the democrats LOST. You can't taunt about Bush's low approval ratings, your guy couldn't even beat him when he was down. Goes to show how pathetic your party and ideals are.

Even Hollywood and its hundreds of millions of dollars spearheaded by Moore couldn't deliver votes.

Kerry has since faded in to irrelevance, right along with the "senior senator" Ted Kennedy.

I thought you Dims learned everything worth knowing about the polls in the last election! Didn't they have Kerry winning and then (shock!), they were wrong.

so just because he lost a presidential campaign means his opinions are no longer valid? i take it that none of the right wingers here even bothered to read the article as usual. the mere mention of john kerry gets them all worked up.

yes I know Bush won the election, and look at how great a job he is doing right now.
