BoberFett is a typical Repubtard who styles himself as a Libertarian. The fact is that the last 3 wars the USA was involved in were all started by Republican presidents. The last war started by a Democrat was back in the 60s under LBJ. And no, no one considers a limited, punitive missile strike a war unless you're a moron. Which BoberFett is, so....

Clarify. Which war was started by LBJ in the 60s? And name your 3 wars please.

I was reading a NYT article and the comments were eye opening. And NYT "editors" (or interns?) were thumbs upping the comments as "NYT recommended."

It's amazing how enthralled Obama has some people.

Does anyone really expect Syria to hand over weapons? In the middle of a war? In 7 days? How the fuck would that work, logistically?

Was wondering this myself.. They are in multiple locations.. I would assume they would be transported by vehicle with a ton of security to the shores and then loaded onto ships. But the country is in the middle of war.. how can those shipments be guaranteed safe? How do we know he's not going to keep some chem weapons on the side for later use?

Plus there is absolutely no plan to take control of the chemical weapons that are in the hands of the rebels.

It's all setup to fail. This is one war we don't belong in. No win for us. No oil. Either extremist muslims come to power or the Alawites remain in power and are allied with Iraq and Iran.

The president has not put much thought into "the day after" the bombs stop falling. Too many tribes in that part of the world and it will most likely lead to Turkey intervening.

If we are not the world's policeman, why are we acting like one? Let them kill each other.

I suspect it would be more Benghazi's.

We bomb and there will be retaliation. Whether they be tied in with Syria or not I expect terrorist groups to attack us where ever we may be. Embassies in the ME, train/metro/bus stations in Europe etc. You name it.

And we've already shown that we can't defend our embassies. We won't even really try.

Each embassy needs to install remote control sentry drones with miniguns and flamethrowers... An impenetrable self contained safe room would be a good idea too.

This really works out for the best if it does turn out to be true. Obama deserves another Nobel peace prize.

I think it's a matter of some agreements being made and weapons coming under UN control. I doubt anyone really thinks that these will moved out all at once.

If anyone mentioned it already I'd agree that without the US threat to attack Syria the Russians would not have proposed the WMD inspection/dismantling plan.

Got a link for that? Probably more than a few people in Chechnya who would disagree with you there. And journalists.

Who knew a community organizer could rack up more kills than a seasoned ex KGB operative? I have to see this list that you must be referring to.

how many wedding parties has putin dropped a bomb on via drone? umm i would say Zero

how many wedding parties has Obama dropped a bomb on via drone? too many to count.

They both kill their citizens without a trial, I would say putin is ahead by a nose with that

They both kill their citizens without a trial, so that is neck and neck.

Agree. Except people didn't expect obama to kill innocent people with drones since he campaigned as the anti-war candidate.

obama has probably killed more innocent children with drones though.

You know, you could have just typed No, I don't have anything in the way of support. and saved time and space.

Kerry defuses..... BAHAHAHA!!!! Spin it baby, spin it!

Jon Stewart gets it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kbe0pDcutRo#t=349

Jon Stewart had some tough words for the Obama administration on Tuesday night, calling them out for getting into and (maybe) out of potential conflict with Syria thanks to two very “ill-thought out hypotheticals” from President Obama and John Kerry.

Stewart brought up Obama’s first declaration of the Syrian “red line” (“the campaign promise Obama’s decided to keep”) as an “offhand hypothetical statement,” before touting Kerry as a “Magoo-esque accidental genius” who was somehow able to “bumble-fuck” his way into coming up with an actual solution in his hypothetical about Kerry handing over chemical weapons. Stewart was astonished that “Syria is taking him up on his dickish offer!”

The North Korean War, of course! What other war could LBJ have started?!?

Duh. 🙄

If you don't know, I really can't explain it to you.

In 1950 LBJ was a senator from Texas. How, exactly, did he start the Korean War?

There's a lot of ambiguity in what people call wars in America. For instance, you could mean conflicts and it could be Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq. Or you could mean declared wars and it could be WW1, WW2, Korea. Please clarify.
