Sure that is worse than screwing your mistress and knocking her up during multiple political campaigns all while denying that your are screwing around on your wife while she is suffering from cancer. Of the 2 at least Gingrich had the balls to be somewhat above board with his wife as opposed to dragging it all out in the pages of the National Enquirer. But of course your hatred of all things hypocritical and Republican probably color your view more than the facts.

Comparing Edwards to Gingrich is like comparing day old dog shit to fresh dog shit. In the end it's still dog shit.

You can't even admit that they're both complete tools? Who's partisan again?

I didn't express an opinion one way or another regarding Gingrich, I assumed from the context of comparing the 2 of them together that it was obvious I thought neither was particularly honorable in what they did. It is the idea that one was worse than the other that I was commenting on. Both are scumbags when it comes to how they treated their wives, that non partisan enough?

What a dirt bag. Glad he's not in the Oval Office.

considering their marriage was likely on the rocks near the end, who cares. for al lyou konw he only stayed married because she got cancer. she first got cancer in 2004... so if they were on the rocks even then, he's been doing the obligation thing for years:p

he couldn't leave since 2004 because she had cancer on and off. so whats scum bag, leaving when the marriage is over and she has cancer ..or trying to stay in a loveless marriage out of obligation.

Could have been worse, could have been like that fat cock sucker Newt Gingrich who had divorce papers served to his wife when she was in the hospital suffering from cancer.

Still Edwards is a douche bag.

Not that either scenario is okay, but since when is being a conniving snake in the grass more noble than being up front and direct with your intentions?

Both are shit and I'd use NEITHER man in a politically motivated "better case scenario". On topic, John Edwards is a chickenshit little weasel. There's no room for "yeah well at least he didn't ... ". Chickenshit little weasel. EOF

Yet you did anyway. Why?

Because I felt like it and IMO both are coniving snakes in the grass. The difference is one is held in high regard by his party and the other isn't.

What is he doing to get his money these days? Since he won't be leeching off his now-dead wife.

Not that I would normally defend this douche, but:

The Jan. 17 issue of the Enquirer says the couple may tie the knot some time this summer.

This is hardly a credible source

I'll bet that he makes a fortune doing political consulting and lobbying for major corporations. I mean, seriously... think of the connections this guy has!

Really bad form.

He must have really loved his deceased wife.

This is fantastic. The real question is whether or not he and her ghost will be on speaking terms after he kills her :hmm:

Don't even lie, you would do the same thing.
"Sorry but you're going to die anyway and these treatment are draining the nest egg we saved for the kids. I'm going to divorce you because I love our children.
