I've seen that on the history channel I think. It was being used for logging because it left no 'footprint' in the forest compared to wheeled and tracked vehicles.

Wow, they actually have the R&D funding available for a project like that? It needs some laser cannons on it, and it'll be ready to start blowing away battle droids - on e-Valium.

I love that attachment though. Cut down, limb, and slice up a tree in a few seconds.

It's already got a chainsaw, which can cut through a tree in a fraction of a second. At about 20 seconds in, the attachment starts limbing the tree. Right at 22 seconds, a saw quickly moves down and cuts off the tree. That's the chainsaw.:D

Whoa, cool looking. I wonder how easy it is to control? Surely they don't have the operator moving all the legs individually...but I wonder if you can choose placement, like if there's a hole/rock/whatever that you want to maneuver around, or tilting the cab to deal with hills.
