Surreal!

Crawford has one of the biggest ego's among nba refs, if not the biggest, and even tho his suspension is 100% warranted imo, its stunning that the nba would take such a bold move to finally slap down a ref who's crossed the line.

David Stern was on PTI today and of course this was the topic of conversation. According to Stern Crawford did not take the news well, maintained that he had done nothing wrong and suggested that he would not be interested in EVER returning to the NBA.

He deserved it. You aren't allowed to claim that a ref has a vendetta against you, even if he obviously does. That's for the league to handle, and they did (although I am suprised they did). The same thing would have happened to Crawford if Duncan had kept his mouth shut so he should have.

I am a mavs fan and even I was saying those calls were bogus. I am glad an official that is so obviously biased is gone. I hope it's forever like Stern alluded to.

great great let the inmates run the asylum. watch out, anyone who gives duncan a T is going to get suspended! you might as well give the guy a license to do whatever he pleases on the court. stupid NBA.

Must be a Mavericks fan. ;)

Classic. He'll never ref again - his ego is too big to admit he did anything wrong, and without that he'll never get reinstated, since he has to meet with stern to ask for it.

that didn't stop Kobe and Phil Jackson their voicing their opinioin a few months ago. I am a bit surprised Greg Ppaopoapoapovich didn't say a word. in relativism, thumbs up to Phil Jackson.

again, 50k to them is probably like 20 bucks to us. plus it's tax deductable. ;)

That foul on oberto when josh howard ran into him was a crock. I don't know if it was crawford who made that call but I dont know how he could've missed it.

That call was so horrible, I laughed. Howard ran into Oberto, then proceeded to fly up in the air as if Superman threw him.

That's becoming more commonplace these days, to exaggerate every thing in hopes of drawing a foul. Manu is good at that, flailing and falling...he's one of my favorites too...
