Well if an actor/bodybuilder can become a politician, I don't see how a plumber can't.

Nothing wrong with plumbing per se, but unlicensed lying tax-evaders shouldn't be elected.

Sounds like Charlie Rangel.

Sounds like about all of them to me, or at least once the dirt actually comes out on each one of them (as it usually does).

The difference is that Charlie Rangel writes the tax code.

I sure hope he runs under the Republican Ticket.

Well, I'm sure it won't be the Democratic Socialist Party of America ;)
No he belongs to the party of Liars and Tax Dodgers.

Charlie Rangel's Democrat party?

You just stated that he won't be running on the Democrat ticket.

No I didn't - I said he wouldn't be running on the Democratic Socialist Party of America ticket - you know... the party Obama was rumored to have started in back in Chicago. Granted it's "unproven". Basically you didn't get the jab ;)

Sure, if responding to a moronic post in a moronic fashion is being 12. Meh, pointing out absurdity using absurdity...

I knew he'd try to extend his fifteen minutes. He might regret it. If he thinks he got a close look following his put up failed attempt to nail Obama, he hasn't seen anything like the scrutiny he'll get if he runs for office.

If he tries, he'd better have any skeletons in his closet very well trained and very silent.

Why run for Congress? How about a Palin/Joe the Plumber ticket?

Better yet, make a movie about that. They could call it, Dumb and Plumber.

Yeah, who does he think he is having drive and dreams. Surely he should just join a union and just live his life out...

First he should get himself licensed and pay his taxes. Baby steps.

So he can't dream and have drive until he takes care of every single leftist attack against him?

Sure he needs to pay his taxes - so does BHO's finance manager and other democrats. Doesn't mean they can't have drive or dream.

He doesn't need a license. Should he get one? Sure if he wants to be a plumber in the future. Seems to me he may not want to be a plumber in the future.

So you rather he make his real-world decisions from his dream world? For example, in his dream world he would make over $250K in profit. Therefore, in his real life he should vote for McCain because McCain wouldn't raise taxes on his $250K dream profit:confused:.

There is nothing wrong with aspiration. The problem is when, instead of working towards your dreams, you just fantasize about them and make real-world decisions based on said fantasies.

By any objective standard this guy certainly has established his credentials as a Class A bullsh*t artist, all talk and no action. Given the GOP's current disposition to celebrity instead of substance, I think a speaking tour and Congressional run is almost guaranteed.

Hmm without Palin, McCain would be behind about 20+ points nationally.

Celebrity indeed.
