It should be up to the kids. If they want to do something, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. For better or worse, *this* is the time to do it if you're going to do something. It would ensure their future financial security.

There's got to be something wrong with that guy. I mean even your average scumbag would be smart enough to lay low long enough to let all the media coverage blow over. Doing this now is just fucking stupid.

I thought MJ was all but broke. He has stuff that's salable, but with 4 kids, I'm not sure how far that would go.

I think it has been well established that Joe Jackson is a scumbag even without this particular turn of events.

Nobody knows for sure, but most people agree he is still in the black and also was making 20+ million a year in royalties and record sales. Some people say due to his death he will probably generate closer to 100 million this year.

i think joe jackson is acutally happy that his son died. now he can exploit it for millions, where as before he was just some old black man no one talked to.
