Hawley has made himself one of the most clear-cut worthless partisan hacks in congress. He has no interest in actually governing or passing anything useful or helpful to the majority of Americans. He's simply in his elected seat to throw a wrench in the gears of ANYTHING Biden or any Democrats try to accomplish.

It doesn't matter how bi-partisan and helpful the legislation or cabinet appointment might be, he'll vote against it just to be a partisan c*nt.

People like Mitch have done plenty of damage, but it was because of his seat and position. Hawley is even more partisan and idiotic, he just doesn't have the same amount of pull in congress. Yet....

Well, for POTUS, was my thinking there. Beyond TX I have to think he's getting a lot of snickers. I have to think he's going to be vulnerable in his senate seat too now. 1) nobody wants him as president
2) declining popularity leaves him increasingly open to a primary challenge
3) only eked it out against Beto by 2.6%

Exactly. I don't see the rationale for primarying Manchin. WV isn't filled with some secret majority of progressives that just need to be channeled by the right candidate. The way to neuter Manchin's power is to get more Democrats elected from purple states like NC.
