Jodie Foster's The Beaver looks pretty good.

No. It does look good and I like Jodie's acting & directing. I really might go see that. After all, unless memory fails me yet again, the last movie I saw at the theater was the Star Trek reboot or the latest Terminator so I'm kinda due for one.

Well, if you go, post a review, although I can't imagine that movie deserves anything less than a golden turkey award.
 
Is Jodie Foster so old that she can't even sell a movie that implies it is about crotch shots of her?

And Gibson AS Gibson... That's good stuff.

ok not what i was expecting.

but it does look like it would be good. something to go on the netflix que anyway.
 
Apparently, after some test screenings, audiences are saying the movie was too long. Now, the studio is asking Jodie Foster to shave her Beaver.

Depression is real, folks, especially amongst toy executives. I suffer from it and feel that if I, too, had a beaver I could make say whatever I wanted and that I could shove my hand in whenever I wanted I'd feel better.

When no one will give you a dam, get a beaver!

Jodie is concerned that Mel Gibson's public image has become tainted, and the movie may have more appeal to women due to his aging yet still hunky good looks. "If women are more attracted to my Beaver than men, then so be it".
