You know, it's funny. The anti-gay folks fault gays and lesbians for "flaunting" their sexuality. Yet it seems some can't allow anyone to keep their sexuality private.

Your point is well taken, but this is the cost of fame IMO. The general populace is interested in the personal lives of celebrities, for better or worse, and so this is a topic that will come up. I for one do
not object to openly gay men or women, but if Jodie Foster wants to keep her sexuality private it is foreseeable it will lead to speculation. For my part it seems obvious to me that she is a lesbian and has little interest in men, which limits her range as an actress slightly (as I said before she seems clearly cold toward men whenever a role calls for a love relationship with one).
