"Me and Richard are ridin' easy!..." :Q

Mmm'kay.

Any advice about "letting it all air out/dry out" is completely valid. If you live at home w/Mom&Dad, that might be a bit difficult. But the itch will drive you to compliance. Whatever you do, DO NOT SCRATCH IT.

You will scratch a little and it will feel sooooo good. Such a relief! But only for 44.23 seconds. The Itch will come back with a vengance...like it doesn't know it was previously sated. So you will scratch harder. Repeat for the next few days and now you have open, festering sores. Literally. 🙁 The pain and length of time to heal will be extraordinary. All the while The Itch will increase.

Jock Itch/Athlete's Foot...they seem kindred brethern, unfortunately. I dealt with them both 20+ years ago when all we had was Gold Bond powder and Tinactin Cream in the foil tube. MAN, that crap stained everything it touched! 😱

Tighty whities? Yellow. Knee-length white tube socks with 3-band multi-colored stripes up top? Yellow around the toes...and cakey-red-dried-blood where you scratched.

Oh, for God's Sake don't scratch.
