Job stress taking larger toll on U.S.

I find it hard to believe Americans work more hours than the Japanese do.

Then again, my job, I don't get any days off my first year. No sick days, no vacation days, no personal days. Nothing.
After a year I get one week of vacation.

I agree with the article. This has been known forever, not much has changed nor do I think I will see that much of a change any time soon. Most companies do whatever they have to legally and nothing more for their employees. Anything repetative eventually gets stressful and work is repetative. Doing ISP tech support a few years back was one of the most stressful jobs I have ever had to deal with, I experienced many of the symptoms that the article mentioned, and I am generally an easy going person, it is far from healthy.
