I was not sure if this belonged in Software, but I thought I would get more results here.

I am starting a job search in a few days and am wondering if anyone has any software that they found/bought that helps you manage all of the jobs you have applied for and the companies you have registered with for placement.

I wrote a php/mysql one about a year ago, but it really sucked. If I end up spending a long time (probably) looking for a job, I will make it better and post it.

will look for it.... basically it only allowed me to enter who I applied to, job reference, contact info, etc. It should really be a helluva lot more robust. :)

I always use Excel for things like that... just create a "list" and you can do all kinds of sorting of your data, almost like a true database program.
