Job related issue

Recently, I interviewed at two different offices, lets say A and B. B said that he really liked my and he will let me know his final decision on SUNDAY (3/22)...I'm pretty sure he is going to offer my a position. Job A told me he was going out of two for the whole week and expects to let me know on the 3/31.

Job A is my #1 option. So if B calls tomorrow, what should I tell him? I can't really say "I'm waiting for something better to come up and I'll know in 8 days..."

A company worth working for will give you time to accept or reject their offer. Don't sweat it.

the thing is it's a small business and the owner said that he wants someone to start in the very near future so that's why he is making his decision just 1 day after interviews.

sorry, i meant 3/22. Tomorrow.

If company B offers you the job, then take it. There's no guarantee company A will offer you a job too, and company B might rescind their offer if they don't feel like being your #2 option.

If company A does offer you the job on 3/31 then quit company B.
