I thought that the Comp Sci field was filled with too many people. I'd think so especially in the Seattle area. I'm starting comp sci @ UW :)

cool, did you just get in for autumn admissions? what classes you taking in the fall?

and comp sci is not as lucrative as the dotcom days, but it's definitely possible to get jobs... if you know what you're doing, don't worry :)

comp sci is a tough major. a lot of people go into it because it seems lucrative, but i'd say few love what they do. i love computers. they are my life.

currently i am looking for a job 3 months after graduating. have an interview next week as a QA analyst for a company that makes GPS systems. apparently it involved a lot of driving cars around. haha.

Wow, I'm fluent in all of that with more than two years of experience in each. A year+ away from graduation and based in Toronto, Canada unfortunately. :)

Bump for my fellow unemployed geeks! ;)

No I cannot, that would be up to you and the hiring manager provided you interview and get an offer.
