Job Interview with Activision on Monday...Suggestions?

Hey folks, I have a job interview on Monday with activision. I'm trying for a 'Game Analyst' position, which involves (among other things) reviewing game builds, finding flaws and offering suggestions for improvement. The job requires lots of writing. Does anyone have any suggestions on any good questions to ask during the interview? Should I stick to job specific questions, or would it be good to have questions about the company in general? Also, I've always been told that 'Asking for the job' is something you should do, but I've never found a good opportunity to do that. How would one slip that into the conversation? Thanks!

I wouldnt ask for the job straight out, I myself would try to schedule a second interview before you leave

Well I think that would be too cocky. I'm not exactly sure how people do it, but I've heard interviewers really like to be "asked for the job." Apparently it shows you are really interested.

Maybe ask them "when can i expect to hear from you" but not when are you going to hire me.

say: "Is there anything that has not been said up to this point that will prevent me from getting hired?"

1) I don't think you need to ask for the job. Being at the interview means you want the job.

2) It is a good idea to ask questions about the job/company because it shows you are interested and it isn't just another paycheck. Maybe ask a question about whether or not this job can open doors to other areas (i.e. show them you are motivated and are seeking long term goals/promotions.) Maybe also ask them if there are any NDAs (don't talk to your friends about this upcoming game, etc.)

DO NOT ask them about time off policies, sick days, etc.

Act eager. Research their titles in development and ask them a few questions. Show that you have looked into Activision as a company, not just as provider of your video games.

If even they didn't ask for them, take in samples of your work. This gives them tangible examples of what you can do.

You should ask both questions about the position and about the company. Focus more on what you can bring to both, NOT what can both do for you.

Also, do not speak about money or asking "do I get the job" unless either are brought up by the interviewer.

Leave it at "when might I hear back from you?" and you're fine. Odds are you're not the only one being interviewed, so the likelihood of them knowing right away is slim (unless you thoroughly screwed up and they know you're not getting it).

Stab them and then say "I found a flaw in your game, it doesn't reset!"

You're sure to be hired then!

i think one of the best questions is asking the interviewer how he/she likes working there. Then you can follow-up questions elaborating on whet they bring up.
