Job Hunting Sucks

I've got 8 applications to drop off, and then pick up more.

Then I'm going back to my old employer to see if they have anything for me, but it's doubtful.

Anyone else in this predicament right now ?

Also I just hit 2K, which is nice.

Yeah, economy is kinda in the slumps now. I still have a job, but its pretty crappy ($7/hr) food place. I will be looking for another job soon.

Just dropped off the resumes, one interview next week already at Guess? Havn't worked retail before but they seemed all about it.

No I don't have my degree yet, only in first year uni.

If you're looking for a retail job, food service, call centers, etc... it's easy. It's not like you're looking for a system admin job. Just look at the papers, someones always hiring.. just make sure after you drop off the apps you call the places back to see if you can come in for an interview

The kind of job search you're doing is the easy kind. Retail work, food service, etc are always hiring someone, and you don't need much experience to get the jobs. Try being in IT, living in the Silicon Valley, and looking for a job, now that is a pain in the ass.
