My g/f got a job to file papers and work with word and excel. My g/f has never used excel in her life! Do you think she can act like she knows what she is doing?

Note: They are NOT going to train her.

I hope she doesn't get involved with using macros and pivot tables... that's when it gets a little confusing (highly unlikely)

if shes using excel 97. if not, and shes not good with computers, then she may get confused.

are they using excel 97? If they are using excel 2000 or XP you will just confuse her more because MS likes to move key parts of programs to different locations in each rev. :)

Yes, as far as using formulas... that shouldn't be too hard....

Anything more, you should get her a book or something.

The basics in excel is not hard to learn. I'm sure she could learn from that book or you can teach her yourself.
