Sounds like the job hes doing isnt even worth it for that pay. I worked on an oil rig for about 6 months being on call 24/7 so I know what hes going through mainly with the heat. I got paid $8 an hour though so my suffering indeed was worth it but for $6 something that would piss me off too. Go find yourself a better job man, seems like you deserve a little more money for what you have to go through.

Woo hoo a grammar insult! I guess I forgot to use a comma somewhere? Or did you just not understand the message? It's been a few years since I was in school, so please forgive me if I forget to use a comma from time to time.
 
And actually my advice hinged upon you answering a simple question that you never bothered to answer :

Are you planning to save the money you make this summer or are you going to spend it?
