Well, whats your reason for looking for a new job?

Seeking new experience, better environment.
At Circuit City? - I had to keep from spewing my coffee all over my monitor.

In all seriousness, I do wish you the best of luck, DarkManX. And in return, the AnandTech gang requests the following from you:

1) Advanced knowledge of upcoming sales (but let us know discretely because a few other AT members have been fired for this practice.)
2) Share your employee discount with us if we're in the market for those 42" plasma TVs that run $6K (again, refer to the 2nd half of #1 above.)

Best of luck to you! 🙂 🙂

Is your current job a full-time or part-time? When i applied i just leave it blank or maybe I print present. They do asked me many times about what am I going to do with the job though and I gave them the best answer, I'll quit coz job at CC is better 🙂
You can use what minendo suggested also and i'm pretty sure that'll impress the manager.
oh, are you seeking a part-time or full-time position? I know they're looking for full-time with the most expendable/ available time to work.
Good luck!

I work part-time. I work as a telemarketer and want to take a break from it being doing it for about 1 and half years. I know I can make way more money for the holidays at circuit city and then If i dont like it then ill come back to my current job. The place I work at now has a great environment and great money but being on the phone so long makes u go crazy.

Don't work at Radio Shack.

hey.... radio shack is fine.... go and have ur interview

but iff CC calls , much better....

GOOD LUCK 😉

here's what you should say to Radio Shack--"even though a lot of people think you guys really suck, I don't think that, and would like to work here!"

actually they stoped asking for ur info altogether as of a few days ago there a thread about this. you get paid a salary plus commision there right?

Radio Shack isn't that bad, you make considerably more than minimum wage with the commissions you receive. The good parts: paycheck and discounts off of electronics, spiffs and clearance items make you a lot of money. When I worked at Radio shack we got a $25 kickback per cell phone sold from the provider, and we sold em during the holidays like hotcakes. Bad parts: putting out the stock, unreasonable customers, stupid bosses (they aren't that bright if they manage a radio shack for a living), and having to ask people for their farking address on every transaction.

what should i wear? i never really been at a formal interview. should i wear white khakis or dress (suit) pants?
