well they did say the background check can take up to 10 days. And it has only been 6...so...I don't really know whats going on. I have worked with these people before, and I actually know the manager on a personal level. He is really saying that they are just waiting on the background check to come through and then they will make the offer.

But there is always the possibility that my background check, especially considering my poor driving record (lots of speeding tickets) might render me inelligable (sp?) .

EDIT: considering that the job requires a little driving travel.
