Jo-Ann's Fabrics Sells Fat Eighths

I was helping my mom pick out wedding presents today and we stopped by Jo-Ann's Fabrics. I saw a sign inside the store advertising "Fat Eighths," which immediately drew my attention. As it turns out, they sell rolled up strips of cloth in one 1/8 of a yard sections as "Fat Eighths." Must be some pot smoking grannies working there.

I looked around to see if I could share this hilarity with anyone, but no one looked the type. I then decided it would go against my better judgement to explain it to my mom.

Take a guess which terminology came first. Tell ya what, I'll give ya 3 guesses and the first 2 don't count. BEGIN!!!!

Man card...now.

Not that I feel a need to justify my manhood...
but there are some SMOKING girls working there...and they know how to sew, thus they are domestically trained. Works for me
