im looking at the makedisc feature on the asus disc and it allows me to make

32bit nviida sata
64bit nvidia sata
jmicron sata

im running 32 so its either 1 or 3, but would it be best to use the jmicron drivers or use the nvidia ones?

The JMicron drivers would be for if you connect a drive to the JMicron controller ports and are installing Windows to that drive (you may not need to use the drivers during the install if you set the ports in the BIOS to run in "IDE mode" or "legacy mode", but will need to use them in "SATA native" mode or whatever it might be called in the BIOS).

The nvidia drivers would be for if you connect anything to the nvidia SATA ports and are installing Windows to that drive (though you may not need to use them unless you have the RAID function enabled, or if the BIOS has an option for the "legacy" or "native" modes for those ports too). The quality of the nvidia SW IDE drivers is still questionable so using them in Windows may or may not be what you want to do, if you aren't using RAID.
