I loved this game...just finished...after playing a 1/2 hr here and there

Well done with no real bugs that causing crashes....good AI

So far IMHO it is as good as FPS out this year....

Yes, it is an awesome game. However, I think they could've done away with some of the jumping puzzles.

Yes it's absolutely superb - easily a 5 star game and it ranks in my top 5 FPSes of all time.

Also I liked all of the jumping puzzles because I liked be able to use force jump.

in my top 5 all time list as well. there is nothing cooler than using the force, except maybe a lightsaber!

I could not stop playing that game when it came out...I thought I was good until I played online and got worked!

meh, I didn't care much for SP with just guns. BORING. MP w/ Saber & Force powers is WAAAAAY more fun.

After I enabled realistic combat I had a lot more fun....I used the lightsaber 95% of the time after that...
Just to be able to chop off heads and cut people in half made the game that much more fun.

Enabling realistic combat definitely made it more fun. Good thing I didn't quit after playing the first few missions. But once I got the Force powers, everything changed. Awesome game.

All I gotta say is cutting people in half and chopping off heads is what the Ultimate First Person Jedi experience is all about. And the force jump is pretty kick @ss too. This game is staying on my hard drive for a long time. I'll finally give Wolfenstien and MOHAA a rest.

You obviously didn't play long. After the first few levels, you go to Luke Skywalker, and get your saber back. and then you ahve saber and force powers.

yeah, I didn't like the guns-only beginning nearly as much as the later parts... play the whole way through - I think the game rocks 🙂

realistic combat...I missed that somehow..was this a default setup???

I agree some of the jumping stuff was a pain in the ass....typical of the Dark Forces series...I remember some of the early puzzles were very hard in Dark Forces....

I was glad to see a game come out with few bugs that was well made....every game can be better of course ..it ranks right up there with my favorite FPS ...

Deus Ex
System Shock 2
JKI and JKII...the force powers were just great
Thief II

Realistic combat is set up in a number of ways, if you search the forum at jedi-outcast.com you'll find what you're looking for (I can't exactly remember right now and I'm not at home). It is easily my favorite FPS ever. I just wish the realistic combat allowed you to wound people by cutting off their hands, rather than just killing them right away.

makes you feel like a god once you get the Force powers. I can basically just pull the stormtroopers into my lightsaber without doing anything. Seeing all those body parts fly all over the place 😎

You'll need the first official PATCH for the game. Then, in the setup, there's a toggle for the realistic combat.
