JJmIII ? FIC Motherboard K8MC51G support Turion X2?

Hi all, I came across this ancient thread http://forums.anandtech.com/archive/index.php/t-8580.html

where the moderator JJmIII was experimenting with this. I am unable to message him to find out his results, as I have less than 25 posts at the moment- so I'm hoping someone here knows; has anyone tried this board with the turion? FIC customer support was not any help, as they closed down their motherboard production long ago.
 
FIC closed down long ago after Compaq bought them out. That's going way back. I knew of some talk regarding installing Turion X2 processors into various Socket 754 motherboards, but I never paid attention to it as Socket 754 was short-lived. The only thing that I can say is that you can attempt to do it, but you could end up killing the processor with too much voltage. FIC motherboards are very limited when it comes to BIOS adjustments. Usually all you see are boot order options and enabling/disabling onboard devices.
