Cool, it's good to see stuff like this happen. Dr. Dre recently donated $1 mil as well, hopefully more people follow suit

<< Rosie o donnel did also! >>

I hope that if a bunch of people jump off of a cliff, Rosie o Donnel would do that too.
But good for Jim Carrey.

You know, if these families get all the money that is supposedly going to them, they will all be millionaires.
Let's see how much gets scraped off the top.

I'm glad Jim Carrey made this donation. he seems like a very cool guy.

As far as Rosie...as much as I hate her, i give her respect for giving a million

NFL players are supposed to donate a game check. That would be many tens of millions.

Hopefully, they will adopt the NFL recommendation.

All the money sent will be used for various Red Cross efforts, so don't worry about "scraping". One way or another, the money donated will be used for a good cause.

I donated $500 myself.

Verizon is doing a 3:1 employee matching program, so that $500 equated to $2000. We at Verizon lost 6 killed in the attack... no, I did not know anyone who died.

That is quite generous of Verizon.
