I dunno, their comedy styles are different. I think Will is funnier though. I don't think they would make a good on screen duo.

Agreed. They just don't go together. I think I'd end up just pissed off.

Anchorman was one of the dumbest, least funny movies I've seen in a long time.

I liked Napoleon Dynamite and I thought Old School was okay but Anchorman was just plain stupid. I also thought Ferrel was funny on SNL.

Will Ferrel is like a guest who has worn out their welcome.

At first it's all fun and games to see them, then they are the last guests to leave, then you are like godddd why are you still hereeeee

I wish him and his terrible movies were nuked off of this Earth.

Jim Carey is is so far out of Farrell's league its not funny (meaning Carey isn't funny).
Sorry the last good movie Carey made was Eternal Sunshine and that wasn't a comedy... before that... well I can't think of a funny Carey movie.
Farrell is GOLD in everything he does. My kids have been watching Curious George over and over (Farrell does the voice of the man in the yellow hat) and even I laugh my ass off at things he says in that movie.

carey's not funny in movies anymore (ever since truman show), but if you've ever seen him on Conan O'brien, he lets loose and is hilarious.

He probably figured out that there's more money to be made as a "serious comedy" actor, compared to Ace Ventura. Too bad.

While I liked Anchorman and love Ferrell (even with his stupid politics), the funniest part of the movie wasn't even a Ferrell moment, it was a Steve Carrey moment: "I'm riding a hairy tractor" as he's sitting on a brown bear.

carrey on snl was one of the greatest episodes IMO

carrey and farrell were funny in that one lifeguard sketch (farrell played the straight man). a movie with both of them would work, but only if one (or both) of them played a more subdued role
