the red can of invisible lube is great. Much better than WD-40 for squeek removal when you don't want residue or staining.

It's not like a PB-Blaster product, just a nice general purpose lubricant that will not mess up cloth especially if it comes in contact.
 
looks like some wholesale deletion/censorship has hit the forums again. I remember this thread being quite a bit longer last night.
