Hmm, well this will mean that Nolan's world is also the world of Man of Steel and JL. Could also be a JGL Batman cameo in MoS. There's potential for awesomeness here.

However Bruce Wayne is Batman, a non BW Batman just sounds wrong. Wonder if they will spend some $$ and work Bale into it. That would be epic.

Wouldn't mind seeing BW knock the smile off Hal Jordan's face!

i was thinking he should be nightwing before he should be batman. i don't think he should be robin, even though they kinda alluded to it in the movie. robin was a kid. nightwing = adult robin.

problem is, outside of geekdom, NO-ONE knows who Nightwing is. I think that character will be relegated to comic books only.

Err, did you watch it? They clearly built up the whole Batman being about the symbol, not the person behind the mask thing so he was going to become the next Batman.

Robin wouldn't carry any weight with the populace be they innocent or criminals. They'd just think he's some stupid copy cat vigilante wannabe. He was going to be the next Batman.

I saw it but the real batman did not die. His name in the movie was Robin and he even looks like robin.

I'm still sad that TDKR didn't imply that JGL was nightwing. What a waste. The robin line was so corny.
