I prefer Jewel as I prefer folk singers to country-pop singers and Jewel is a far better singer and was even at a similar age. Her Woodstock 99 performance is riveting.

I also like Alicia Keys, Nicole Sherzinger & Vanessa Marcil. Keep trying though you almost had me, well not really but I'm sure in your head you did any ways.
 
Taylor Swift is rather vapid. I get it for the middle schoolers out there, b/c angst is totally cool. But why give a shit after you reach puberty?
