Jetta better than WRX

Talking about the VR6 or the turbo jetta, i would take a jetta over the WRX. The WRX is faster, but the Jetta is just a nicer car.

If it comes down to looks, quality, and interior, the Jetta ownz the WRX. But the WRX definitely has the performance advantage. Too bad it's just too f*&kin' ugly to be seen driving in the day time 😀

In quality, yeah. I'll take a Jetta any day over a WRX (black, 1.8T stick, please!). However, if we're talking about performance... the WRX has an advantage over either the Turbo Jetta or VR6 model with it's AWD. 0-60 and quarter miles are faster, but that doesn't make the car better.

wrx is by far the performance leader, and isn't far behind on the build qualty. and subaru was making reliable cars back when the jetta was the POS known as the rabbit

your friend is on crack 😉 j/k... I think it's all up to personal preference. I'd take the WRX over any other car in the < $25k category. Its looks are actually kinda growing on me 🙂

Screw that...for $26,700 I'd get a "base" 350Z which is basically loaded anyway. The 350Z ownz that ugly little biatch WRX 😀

Obviously there is no contest in terms of performance. I definitely prefer the fit and finish of the Jetta, but frankly a Jetta really seems like a chick car to me, and I can't imagine owning one.

I think the Rabbit and Jetta were always different (although similar) cars, like the Golf and Jetta today.
I don't recall the Rabbit having serious problems

yea, if you're a girl 😛

jetta is too.... broad for my tastes. i know that sounds weird, but broad is how i would best describe the look of the jetta.

around $24k. But you'll have a hard time getting one as many people preorder em 🙂 (just like the odessys)

The impieza starts at $18k i believe

WRX is sweet(best performance import IMO) but my next car will probably be a Jetta wagon TDI, I am going for UTILITY not speed, each car has its own function and strengths(Jetta can also be fast).
