Jets are circling above my apartment.

Yes, it's that time of year again. The air and water show is going on in Chicago this weekend and they are now rehearsing. I live about 5 blocks from the lake so they circle my place every five to ten minutes. Anyone ever been or going to this one? I love seeing the harrier and all the other jets.

Went the the one in Wisconsin this year, pretty big. No harrier though But a couple really loud F-22s were there

Blue angels are also arround my office.. too bad its cloudy.. Never been, but I hear its fun... Actually, whenever I get a chance to go , the helocopters etc. are almost gone. Getting to the actual beach is rough for me.. I like to sleep in during the weekends

Lucky you. I live about 1 mile from Moffet Field which is the homebase of the Rescue wing of the California Air National guard. Luckily they don't actually do that much, but man, having a c-130 buzzing your apartment as it comes in for a landing is freaking loud.

When I worked in downtown Chicago we used to go up on the roof of the building and watch them on rehersal day. Good times. The best way to see the airshow is from a boat out on the water.
