WTF's up with celery?! They also managed to take "Hawaiian pizza" to new depths. Some of those are intriguing though. I'd like to see more seafood options on pizza, but you can fuck right off with pickled herring :^D

I remember one episode where a visiting Vulcan dignitary is like, 'How do you do it? Wow.' Her immediate response was something like 'Oh I use olfactory inhibitors.' Ha.

Made me think of wool clad Europeans showing up in Japan, meat eaters for whom bathing was an annual event. Maybe.

Those Japanese nostrils had their flabber completely ghasted. Netflix's Shogun did a nod to this I think, when Toranaga asks Anjin-san to demonstrate diving into the water from a boat. Then asks him to do it like seven more times. I recall the book being more upfront about the issue.
