I still cannot believe they actually went with that voice. Most hilarious voice in any movie ever. I don't know what I laughed more at, the Nolan nuthuggers that tried saying how its proof of his genius (both defending it as an actual smart decision, but also simultaneously being like "he knows how braindead the average movie watcher is these days and they won't even notice how fucked up it is"), or when I found out that was the actual voice from the movie. I'd seen clips and always thought it was a parody voice of people poking fun at it until I tried watching the movie, and couldn't stop laughing once I heard the voice. Like, even fucking Charlie Brown knew how absurd that shit is and made a joke of it. Nolan's like "this is great in my super serious dark Batman movie". Oh jeez, just looked and there's nerds desperately trying to defend it too, one even being like "the contrast between Bane's my balls are in a vice grip so I must squeak into an empty hallway and Batman's gravelly constipation heightened the dynamic, adding emotion". They both sound like shit. It actually would have been fun if the movies were, you know, actual superhero movies and not so up their own asses that Zack Snyder was like "only way I can top that is to put Assfleck in an Iron Man suit and make Superman Jesus and then have them punch murder entire cities so I can finally cum" (Snyder only gets off to disaster porn, and romanticized rape scenes). Maybe someone can use AI to add nipples to all of the Nolan Batman stuff? The Joker of course will just be rocking a boner the whole time. And then just combine Bronson and Bane so Batman is grappling with greased up naked dude with a mustache.

I heard Oppenheimer also has some baffling sound design decisions, so doubt I'll actually be able to watch all 50 hours of it.
